Remember! 95% Government funding is available to the majority of UK employers who access the apprenticeship scheme to retrain and up-skill their existing workforce.
As we take our first tentative steps out of lock down many of us are facing radical changes. Employers are being forced to restructure their business in order to ensure future success.
What many employers are not fully aware of, is that the available government funding for apprenticeships can be used to ensure all team members are equipped with the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours to be successful in their existing, new or slightly adapted roles.
However, some still view training and development through the apprenticeship scheme with suspicion and doubt.
Apprenticeships are a means of someone learning new skills, gaining qualifications and relevant occupational knowledge and behaviours whilst in employment in a related job role.
Have you considered utilising the apprenticeship scheme in a different way? Taking advantage of the funding available rather than accumulating debt? Or spending what’s left of your training budget?
