You will provide a safe, caring and happy environment for residents who live at the home. You will provide quality care and support to residents to help them meet their individual needs. The role is person-centered and involves working closely with residents in many aspects of their daily lives, including personal care and social activities.

Things To Consider

Applicants will be required to work shifts, these will generally be 3 days of 11.5 hours shifts.

Adult care worker

An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be expected to work towards an Intermediate Adult Care Apprenticeship Standard Level 2, with support from your employer and Learning Unlimited.

As part of your apprenticeship and dependent on your prior attainment you may be required to complete maths, English and ICT Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship. Upon successful completion you will be awarded an additional certificate of recognition for these qualifications.
