This course is the perfect opportunity to acquire the underpinning knowledge of how electrical systems are selected and how they operate; together with how regulations and requirements affect electrical installations. It aims to provide a facility of assessment (and learning) of electrical installation theory and technology.

    • Properties, applications and limitations of different wiring systems
    • Standard lighting circuits
    • Standard ring and radial final circuits

    • The importance of earthing and bonding for protection
    • The principles of overcurrent protection and circuit design

    Who is this course for?

    You will need GCSE grade C/4 in maths and English.
