Intermediate - A member of our Recruitment Team will be able to advise which level is most suitable for you based on your current grades and experience.

An apprenticeship in Warehousing and Storage will give you the skills needed to begin a career in logistics. You could go on to become a picker/packer, loader or fork lift truck operator.

Depending on the pathway taken, key units include:

  • Certificate in Warehousing and Storage
  • Using a Forklift Truck
  • Wrap and Pack Goods
  • Health and Safety in the Workplace
  • Moving and Handling Goods

Who is this course for?

This Apprenticeship is available at Intermediate level and allows you to study towards a recognised qualification whilst in paid employment. Applicants to this Apprenticeship could be a mix of age and experience. As a guide, applicants may come from a range of routes including: work or work experience training and/or experience which could include a portfolio showing what you have done, foundation learning at level 1, any of the Key Skills or Functional Skills, Young Apprenticeship, vocational or academic qualification(s).

What other experience will I gain?

This framework could see you working as a Warehouse picker/packer, loader and with appropriate training, fork lift truck operator.

Where will this lead?

This framework will provide opportunities to move into Level 3 jobs and training in Warehousing and into the wider logistics sector. Advanced roles could take on more responsibility including junior team leader roles.
