Cost

This course is aimed at Technicians in the automotive industry to help upskill them with basic electrical knowledge. The course can be run over 2 days or 3 nights dependent on demand and is held at our purpose built automotive training centre on Wharf Lane, just down the road from our Infirmary Road campus.

They allow candidates to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the automotive industry. Candidates will learn how to understand vehicle electric subsystems, electric principles, use of electrical equipment and wiring diagrams. In addition to this candidates will use a range of electrical equipment such as multi meters and amp clamps.
