COVID-19 Update for Chesterfield College Group Employer Partners and apprentices

Update: 23 March 2020

In order to continue to protect the safety and welfare of our students, apprentices and staff, we have taken the decision to close the college and all of our regional learning centres from 4pm on Monday 23rd March.  Staff will continue to work from home and provide learning to all apprentices, however, day release apprenticeship delivery on college premises will cease from today and there will be no access to college sites for students. These arrangements will until further notice. All commercial courses are also postponed at this present time.

From Monday 23rd March, all exams and assessments will cease. We will work with awarding bodies to make alternative arrangements for any apprentice affected once normal operations resume.

Apprentices can continue with their learning remotely and will be contacted by their tutor via email and through OneFile. Our aim is to ensure that all apprentices are able to continue with their development through online learning and regular contact with their tutor.

We will continue to review the situation in line with government guidelines and will update you as soon as we are able to. Your account manager will call you directly to discuss any important updates we feel you should be aware of and to ensure you are supported by us throughout the coming months.

Thank you for your understanding during this unprecedented situation. For any further support or assistance, please continue to liaise with your work-based tutor. If they are not available, please use our dedicated email (helpline@chesterfield.ac.uk) and we will endeavour to respond as quickly as we can.

We will continue to process applications for apprenticeship vacancies.
