Hiring an apprentice just got easier…

There has never been a better time to recruit an apprentice.

The Chancellor’s £30bn rescue plan, announced at the beginning of July, has provided employers with a range of unprecedented opportunities for financial support.

Employers who might have been reconsidering their plans to hire new apprentices, or putting their workforce development plans on pause for the next year, now have an opportunity to develop and grow their business despite the on-going effects of the Covid-19 lockdown.

Employers who take on a new apprentice can now benefit from:

  • £3,000 bonus for employing a 16-18 year old apprentice
  • £2,000 bonus for employing 19-24 year old apprentice
  • £1,500 bonus for employing an apprentice aged 25 or over
