Breakfast event to shape training for future

Regional employers across health, social care and childcare sectors are being invited to join Learning Unlimited’s Employer Advisory Board to help shape the next generation of professionals working in those industries.

The sector specific employer group will meet for the very first time on Wednesday 27 February at Chesterfield College to talk about training and apprenticeships and look at the best ways of developing future employees. Together the group will create training and apprenticeship programmes that will match the exact needs of local health, social care and childcare businesses.

The group will discuss training issues and talk about the skills needed by businesses across the area. It will give those taking part the chance to make a difference and have a say on how Learning Unlimited shapes its training and apprenticeship provision to ensure the next generation of employees are skilled and ready for work.

The free event takes place between 10am and 11.30am and will include breakfast and coffee/tea at the beginning of the meeting. Free parking is also available. Companies interested in taking part in this – or future forums – are invited to contact the team to book their place or call 03458 501055 for further details.
