The level of HR function a business needs will depend on its circumstances and structure. Chesterfield College offers two quality CIPD accredited courses to develop HR skills at different levels and to suit diverse business needs.
For those just starting or developing their early careers in the world of HR, we have a Level 5 Diploma in Human Resource management. This course is designed to naturally deepen your knowledge and understanding of the HR role and become a confident, business focused and ethical practitioner.
Our Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management is suitable for those already working in a senior HR role. It will allow you to further understand strategic objectives for your business, help develop policies and the people in the organisation.
Both courses support you to develop a breadth of understanding for management and people practice.
Students benefit from working together in a group and developing independently too. The new term will see us deliver a blended learning approach where students will get a mix of face to face and virtual lessons.
At Chesterfield College, we recognise the talent and experience that you already have and the wealth of knowledge you bring. Although theory and case study is an important part of this course, we also embrace class discussions to consider how the theory applies in real situations, and how we can apply it in our roles. This will provide you with the opportunity to share and develop best practice with fellow people professionals working across a range of sectors, large and small.

In times like this, businesses and organisations must make sure they are developing people as HR professionals. “
