This includes a Rental Desk Apprentice, a Finance Administration Apprentice, a Workshop Administration Apprentice and a Disposal and Contract Sales Apprentice.

Rental Desk Apprentice

  • Qualification: Level 3 Customer Service
  • Annual wage: £10,355.00
  • Working week: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Total hours per week: 37.5

  • Expected duration: 15 Months

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Taking incoming calls, and directing them to the correct contact as necessary.
  • Dealing with enquiries matching needs to the correct rental product/service.
  • Establishing and maintaining client, supplier and colleague relationships.
  • Creating and maintaining client, supplier & vehicle records.
  • Work towards the successful achievement of team targets.
  • Coordinate deliveries and collections.
  • Manage complaints to ensure timely resolution.

Finance Administration Apprentice

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Finance team in a finance administration role to enable you to prepare for a future career in Accounts. With training from your mentor, you’ll become responsible for the smooth administration & processing of information relating to the vehicle fleet in the areas of Legal requirements for HGV & LCV vehicles.

·         Qualification: Business Administrator Level 3

·         Annual wage: £10,355.00

·         Working week: Monday – Friday, 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

Total hours per week: 37.5

·         Expected duration: 18 Months

 

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Process Invoice/Credit Notes
  • Complete & process all documents ensuring compliance with current legislation
  • Pay and record transactions relating to fines and licenses
  • Ensure all vehicle V5 documents are recorded, scanned, tagged and filed
  • Carry out a 6-monthly V5 audit record and report the findings
  • Ensure all vehicles are taxed prior to their current tax expiring, maintaining all records on the CVS fleet database
  • Liaise with the Billing Team for the recharging process
  • Daily bank reconciliations

Workshop Administration Apprentice

Due to the ongoing expansion of Close Brothers Vehicle hire, and to allow CBVH to further strengthen their focus on customer service, the control of supplier costs & maintenance provision efficiencies, we have an opportunity for a motivated team player to take the position of Workshop Administration Apprentice.

·         Qualification: Level 3 Business Administrator

·         Annual wage: £10,354.50

·         Working week: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Total hours per week: 37.5

·         Expected duration: 18 Months

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Control the opening and closing of workshop jobs.
  • Plan jobs into the workshop, allocating to the internal/external body repairer.
  • Liaise with 3rd party repairer to support the repair programme.
  • Support stock levels by ordering the correct parts for the stores.
  • Raise and close purchase orders.
  • Create damage estimates for end-of-life claims.
  • Maintain compliance documentation.
  • Support the Workshop Administrator and Damage Manager day to day.
  • Work towards the successful achievement of team targets.

Disposal and Contract Sales Apprentice

As an apprentice, you will learn all of the skills to become a Disposal & Contract Sales Executive with a fantastic range of future career options ahead of you. You’ll use social media to target new business, support marketing campaigns & support our customers in finding the right solution for their needs.

·         Qualification: Level 3 Business Administrator

·         Annual wage: £10,355.00

·         Working week: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Total hours per week: 37.5

·         Expected duration: 18 Months

What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Dealing with enquiries matching need to the correct disposal solution for both trade & individual
  • Process orders within the pre-set timescales
  • Record all customer communications on the internal data
  • Arrange order acknowledgement communications
  • Follow up on processing orders for customers
  • Co-ordinate delivery and provide proof of delivery communications
  • Assist with marketing call campaigns
  • Vehicle Prep: price boarding & cleaning etc.
  • Work towards the successful achievement of team targets
