Apprentice Advice Evenings in February

If you’ve ever thought about going down the route of an apprenticeship but not quite sure what it involves, then we’ve got two events for you.

Learning Unlimited will be holding an Apprenticeship Open Event at its campus on Pride Park in Derby on Tuesday 5 February between 5.30pm and 8pm. There will be the chance to talk to the team about apprenticeships and how you can get involved and take a look around the on-site training facilities. No appointments are necessary, just drop by at the office at 15-21 Royal Scot Road, Pride Park, Derby DE24 8AJ that evening.

Later in the month, there will be an Apprenticeship Advice Evening at Chesterfield College on Infirmary Road in Chesterfield. On Tuesday 19 February, there will be the chance to see what apprenticeship opportunities are available locally, get advice about careers and apprenticeships, and talk to employers. During the evening, there will also be the opportunity to talk to a member of the team and ask them any questions you might have about the options available, entry requirements and how to apply for apprenticeships.

There will be stands as well as information about the many different types of apprenticeships available from business administration, construction, engineering, health and social care to hairdressing and beauty therapy, hospitality and catering, creative digital media and social media.

Again, there’s no need to book an appointment, drop by any time between 5.30pm and 7.30pm!

If you can’t make it to the Advice Evenings, don’t forget that the Apprenticeship Hub in Chesterfield College is open Mondays to Thursdays 8.30am to 5pm and Fridays 8.30am to 4.30pm. You’re always welcome to drop by during opening hours and there will be someone there to advise or provide guidance on apprenticeships.
